UDA reached a settlement with IDTSL before the Supreme Court in 2021 (Case No. SC/FR/138/16), under which UDA agreed to submit the list of qualified persons to all Local Authorities, in the same manner as the lists of Architects and Engineers are submitted.
Accordingly, IDTSL is now preparing the 2027 Qualified Persons List to be submitted to the UDA.
If you have successfully completed NVQ Level 5 in Drafting Technology (Buildings) from any recognized institution in Sri Lanka, you are eligible to become a member of IDTSL and have your details included in the list.
The Institute will issue a valid professional seal and an official ID card, which will be useful for the building plan approval process at Local Authorities throughout Sri Lanka.
Eligible NVQ Level 5 qualified persons are encouraged to become members and register their details for inclusion in the 2027 list.
